General Labourer
ApplyKey Responsibilities:
- Assembly & preparation of concrete forms
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading of concrete materials
- Placement and tying of reinforced steel
- Operation of overhead cranes and suspended load equipment
- Transportation of materials and products throughout the plant
- Finish and scrape concrete products, including scrapers and grinders using a variety of hand tools
- Maintenance of shop floor organization, cleaning, and housekeeping
- Maintain a safe environment by following health and safety regulations
- Participate in daily production meetings and safety training
- Assist with minor repairs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Ontario High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent (required)
- Experience working within a construction environment considered an asset
- Experience working with heavy equipment (forklift, cranes) considered an asset
- Ability to use and operate a variety of hand tools
- Proven ability to adhere to health and safety standards, including proper use of PPE
- Team player with the ability to work well individually and in a group setting
- Must have own transportation
