  • Dispatcher

Coldstream Concrete is looking for a Dispatcher who is ready to take ownership of daily delivery coordination, driver communication, and customer service in a busy precast manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone who can stay organized, think quickly, and keep people informed when priorities shift, while demonstrating alignment with our core values of safety, working together, growth, and accountability.

As Dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for truck drivers and a central communication point between contractors, production, and sales teams. You will coordinate deliveries, prepare load documentation, support invoicing, monitor delivery schedules, and contribute to new driver orientation and ongoing training so drivers are set up for success and kept informed.

    What You’ll Coordinate

    • Daily dispatch and coordination of truck drivers, delivery schedules, contractor requirements, product availability, and operational priorities.

    • Clear, timely communication with drivers so they understand delivery expectations, route changes, customer needs, safety requirements, orientation expectations, training updates, and any organizational changes that may affect their work.

    • Excellent customer service with contractors, including answering questions, resolving delivery concerns, and keeping customers informed as schedules or priorities change.

    • Accurate delivery administration, including maintaining an up-to-date calendar of pending deliveries and producing load sheets, delivery tickets, and invoices.

    • Coordination with production and the shop to support aggregate availability, trucking needs, and timely repairs or service on equipment.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A strong dispatcher, logistics coordinator, transportation administrator, or operational support professional with 3–5 years of related experience.

    • Post-secondary education or certificates in a related field are required.

    • Working knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, WHMIS, load security, MTO trucking requirements, and permit systems for over-dimensional loads.

    • A calm, organized communicator who can manage time effectively, plan around daily operational needs, resolve issues quickly, and escalate concerns when appropriate.

    • Comfort using a variety of scheduling and internal information management software programs and systems to track work, communicate clearly, and maintain accurate records.

    • Strong alignment with Coldstream Concrete’s core values: prioritizing safety, working together as one team, supporting growth through learning and continuous improvement, and taking accountability for decisions, communication, and results.

    Why This Role Stands Out

This role combines customer service, logistics planning, driver coordination, and operational problem solving. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action, keeping details organized, helping deliveries move smoothly, and contributing to a team-driven environment where safety, working together, growth, accountability, and reliable service matter.

  • Yard Supervisor

Coldstream Concrete is looking for a Yard Supervisor who is ready to grow their leadership career while making a visible impact in a busy precast manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who has already proven they can lead people, organize work, communicate clearly, and help others build stronger skills and work habits.

As Yard Supervisor, you will lead yard and quality employees, support daily operational priorities, and reinforce safety, quality, schedule, and customer delivery expectations. In this role, you are not required to be the technical expert in every area; you are the kind of leader who stays connected to the work, understands employees’ challenges, asks good questions, and knows how to coach people toward consistent, quality-focused performance.

    What You’ll Lead

    • Daily coordination of yard and quality activities, including schedules, priorities, product movement, loading readiness, equipment needs, and communication with other departments.

    • Clear direction and follow-up so employees understand daily expectations, targets, safety requirements, and quality-focused work habits.

    • Practical coaching and training support by recognizing strengths, identifying learning opportunities, checking understanding, and helping employees build confidence over time.

    • Daily reports and operational updates that organize the right information for the right audience, from employees and peers to managers and senior leadership.

    • Workforce planning using reliable operational information, staffing levels, schedules, and production needs to make the best use of available skills and prepare for changing labour needs.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A proven supervisor or emerging operational leader with manufacturing, yard, logistics, production, construction, quality, or similar experience.

    • Post-secondary education or certificates in a related field are required.

    • Someone who communicates with clarity, follows through on commitments, and sets clear expectations for employees.

    • A natural coach who can see what people need to learn, explain expectations in a practical way, and help employees turn instruction into safe, consistent work habits.

    • A team-focused leader who can build trust, de-escalate concerns, work across departments, and support a respectful workplace culture.

    • Comfort using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, online communication tools, and operational systems to prepare reports, schedules, updates, and presentations.

    • Strong alignment with Coldstream Concrete’s core values: prioritizing safety, working together as one team, supporting growth through learning and continuous improvement, and taking accountability for decisions, communication, and results.

    Why This Role Stands Out

This is a strong opportunity to showcase your leadership, build your training capability, support quality-focused work, and grow into a stronger operational leader. You will work in a team-driven environment where safety, communication, accountability, and employee development matter.
